What is E-tegami?
Buddha School
Participatory course that can be applied to daily life for the benefit of self and all beings includes:
* study of Buddhist Teachings - the Dharma
* learn how to cultivate sincere, pure, compassionate heart - Boddhisattva Practice
* fun exercises to experience Ki Enlightenment
* Heart to Heart Communication skills
* Meridian Yoga to relax the body and mind

Continuing from where the Level 1 course left, this 4 week course allows participants to develop their communication skills to a deeper and richer level.

Etegami Workshop
Etegami is a painted letter that communicates with people in your life how you feel at a particular moment. In Etegami, you combine a painting on any theme with a few words that naturally emerge from your heart. The rules are simple: facing a piece of Japanese paper, you concentrate your mind into the tip of an inked brush, draw contours and add colour and words that are easy to read and understand. Then write an address and mail it out. Similar to a focused moment of performing on stage, there is no second chance in Etegami because you don’t make a draft.
Copying of the Heart Sutra
The copying of a sutra, "Shakyo" in Japanese, is a brush meditation. Shakyo gives one a feeling of peace, balancing the mind and body in unification with Amida Buddha. The whole event inspires respect for the Dharma and as one writes the characters, one feels a a deeper gratitude for the precious teachings.
