About the Wada Ji Sangha Temple

The Wada Ji Sangha Temple is a place devoted to the meditative chanting for the happiness and spiritual development of all beings. It is open to all. The temple is created in the Pure Land style of Japanese Buddhism.
The central temple is located in Japan.
WADAJI: Articles of Faith
The purpose of WADAJI is:
· To spread the teachings of Pure Land Buddhism based on the Three Pure Land Buddhist Sutras with worshipping Amida Buddha
· To raise Spirituality (the Spiritual Development) of the general public and followers through Nembutsu practice (Buddha remembrance chanting), classes, retreats, ceremonies and other religious activities
· To develop as a religious charitable corporation
We follow the practice and spreading of Nembutsu Samadhi, devotion to Amida Buddha “Namu Amida Butsu” as often as possible to reinforce our Faith and a sincere state of mind, and to gain liberation / enlightenment to the Pure Land.
We take refuge in Amida Buddha, in the Dharma (teachings) and in the Sangha (community).
In order to cross over from ignorance and delusion to enlightenment, we follow and practice:
the Six Paramitas (six perfection or six practice)
1. Generosity, giving of oneself (Dana paramita)
2. Conduct, morality (Sila paramita)
3. Patience (Kshanti Paramita)
4. Energy, diligence, effort, hard work (Virya Paramita)
5. Meditation, concentration (Dhyana Paramita)
6. Wisdom (Prajna Paramita)
